On New Years Eve I went out with some friends to a "club". I don't normally attend indoor events yet I knew several of the DJs and wanted to catch their sets. I kept myself centered by occasionally visiting the banyan in the park across the street. Anyone who has ever lived in Hilo knows which one I'm talking about. It's the one in the park across from the East Hawaii Cultural Center. It was well lit so I could climb at night. All I can say is Magic! Aloha and Happy New Years from the Big Island.

Tue, January 3, 2006 - 10:50 AMNice! I hopped on my bike and caught a sunset ride on the 31st. I oogled some majestic oakes to climb, but the rain had turned the hills into peanut butter and i knew my bike wouldnt make it.
I hope everyone has an amazing 2006!
